About Aurea
|
Aurea was born in Manhattan, New York. She currently resides in Beverly Hills, but grew up in North Hollywood before moving to the NorthToluca Lake area. She is the third child in a family of six and has three brothers and two sisters. Her parents, George and Mary Resto are of Puerto Rican descent with ancestors from Spain and France.
Imbued with entrepreneurial spirit, her parents became business owners upon completing their education; her father George worked as a jeweler and her mother as a cosmetologist. Aurea has a son and daughter whom she raised almost solely with income from owning an interior design business, modeling, and working in the consumer credit industry. |

In September of 2005, with encouragement from friends, Aurea launched All About U!. With a focus on interviewing successful individuals, she seeks to identify each person’s unique blend of skills, knowledge, personality, or revelation, and the role it played in defining his or her personal, professional, or social success.
In her spare time, Aurea raises awareness and support for diabetes, cancer, spinal cord injuries. She is an avid golf and tennis player and occasionally participates in celebrity tennis and golf events. She also has a passion for reading thrillers and is an ardent collector of self-help references and daily inspirational quotes.
One of Aurea’s favorite quotes is: “People are like stained-glass windows.
They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.”
